There are a few requirements you need to meet so we can set you up as an Absolute Domestics Cleaning Contractor
Minimum Requirements
Car required: Personal vehicle needed for local travel. Public transport is acceptable in metro areas or for those seeking one job per day.
Communication: Strong reading and writing skills in English are essential to follow instructions, especially for handling cleaning products and equipment.
Safety Instructions: Understand how to handle chemicals, use equipment properly, and navigate clients’ homes without causing damage.

Those who love to clean: Clean Queens, neatniks and tidy enthusiasts, if you genuinely enjoy cleaning, you’ll be a perfect fit for this role.
Want flexible hours: Working mums, students, semi retirees, or anyone seeking extra income that fits around your busy schedule.
Want to keep their weekends: People who don’t want to work on evenings or weekends, all work is during the week in daytime hours.
Paperwork
Working Holiday Visa Holders: Unfortunately, those here on working holiday visas are ineligible due to government restrictions.
Police Check: You’ll need to get a police check done in order to be able to work with us. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process.
New Arrivals (Less than 6 Months): Must submit a police clearance from your home country.
Earn with flexibility: Earn up to $45 an hour without sacrificing your evenings and weekends, choose your own hours.
Work with your friends or family: Team up with your friends, partner or family and clean together.
Full support: Your dedicated area manager will be there to provide you with full support, helping to settle any issues with clients.

It’s easy, simply fill in an application online here. If you meet the requirements, you’ll be contacted and asked to call one of our recruitment officers. Then you’ll complete a phone screening, and video interview and then a vetting process including reference checks and a police check. After this you’ll be invited to attend our training workshop.
Our training workshop has been carefully developed over our 30 years of business. We take you through everything you need to know to clean a home from top to bottom and how to communicate with our clients. You’ll learn about cleaning techniques for every different type of household surface and all the finishing flourishes that add that professional touch.
Depending on where you are based and whether you are taking once-off cleaning jobs you can make anywhere from $30 - $60 an hour.
No, the cleaning you’ll be doing will be doing is the kind that we all do in our own homes; vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, tidying. We also offer comprehensive training including ongoing training to ensure you’re fully prepared. If you have cleaning experience, we might be able to offer you once-off cleaning work which pays more per hour and requires a little more technical know-how.
This will all depend on you, if you’re working in a team then you’ll be able to take on more clients as your time on the job will be cut in half. But for solo cleaners we recommend you only take on one cleaning job a day in your first week to get set up. Once you’ve got your first wave of clients and then you can take on additional clients either on a weekly or fortnightly basis to fill up your roster. You can also take additional fill-in jobs when you want to pick up extra cash without the responsibility of taking those clients ongoing.
