Cleaners registered with Absolute Domestics are covered by Personal Accident Insurance. This means that they are provided with compensation in the event of injuries or disabilities caused by accidental events. However, we still recommend for our clients to consider a Domestic Workers Compensation Policy.
Our cleaners can provide an estimate over the phone or at your home for a cleaning service. Speak to your cleaner prior to start if you want them to work to a set budget or provide an estimate of the number of hours required to complete all of your tasks.

Yes, you are welcome to give the cleaner a key. For convenience, many of our clients are not home when their cleaner comes and therefore prefer to give the cleaner a key. With our stringent recruitment process, you can have peace of mind in doing so
Yes, it is better to use your own cleaning equipment and products for a regular or catch-up service so that you know exactly what is being used in your home. If you would like product and equipment supplied by the cleaner, there is a small additional cost. For a one-off clean such as a move out or spring clean, specialised cleaning equipment and products are provided as part of the service.
No, but it is important to arrange a meeting with your cleaner to discuss your needs prior to the service starting. Our cleaners provide the best service when they completely understand your cleaning requirements and how to use your equipment. We find that an initial meeting will help make both you and your cleaner happy. If you are not going to be home during your house cleaning, you will, however, need to arrange access to your home with your cleaner.
We definitely want your pets to be as happy as you are when the cleaner comes to do your cleaning so it is between you and your cleaner to decide on the best option.

Absolutely! Our cleaners pride themselves on providing a high-quality, thorough service. Please be mindful that your cleaner will be working to an agreed timeframe. We ask that, in all fairness, there is enough time allocated for the cleaner to get the job done properly. To ensure a quality service, it’s also always beneficial to take the time to have an initial meeting with your cleaner to fully explain what you would like them to cover.
We live for holidays and yes, it’s an ideal time to get a cleaner in while you’re away. Nothing can put an end to those pleasant holiday memories like a messy home to return to.
Please pay your cleaner directly on the day of the clean. For a regular service you can pay by either cash or bank transfer at the conclusion of the service. For a catch-up clean our preferred method is cash unless the cleaner indicates otherwise. Our one off cleaners accept all forms of payment including cash, eftpos or credit card. Card payment fees may apply. All of these transactions are paid directly to your cleaner, not to Absolute Domestics.
Cleaners registered with Absolute Domestics are covered by Public Liability Insurance. This means that you, along with any person other than the Cleaner, are protected from damage or injury caused by a Cleaner’s negligence. Public Liability Insuranceis extremely important for both our Clients and Cleaners and is one of the most important reasons for using our Agency. Please note: Absolute Domestics’ Public Liability Insurance policy does not cover commercial properties.

To ensure we have honest, reliable cleaners working for us, all of our cleaning contractors undergo a police check, reference checks and work history checks as well as being fully insured.
You can rest assured that at Absolute Domestics, we have gone the extra distance to bring you the highest quality house cleaning service. From background checks to thorough training, when you hire our services, you can expect results that are nothing short of excellent. Initially, we interview a home cleaner applicant on the phone. The shortlisted meet us face to face. IDs are checked, police backgrounds and work history are scrutinised. We then invite the successful applicant to a two day Workshop where they learn our specialised cleaning techniques and procedures.
Our recruitment process includes face-to-face interviews, background checks, work history examination and identification checks. These checks are important to us, as it is how we ensure you receive the very best cleaning services possible.
Regardless of experience, all cleaners are trained to deliver a consistent approach to domestic cleaning. We offer a comprehensive training workshop, ongoing support from Area Managers and training material supplied by the Agency to gain experienced knowledge of different products, equipment and cleaning surfaces in the home.
All new cleaners registered with the Agency are required to provide a police clearance check from April 2015.
Any domestic cleaning chore such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms or kitchens. Making beds, doing laundry, ironing, all these can be included as a part of your service. There are a few things our cleaners can’t do; they can’t do carpet cleaning, cleaning gutters, cleaning out litter trays or picking up after the dog, cleaning driveways, outdoor windows or BBQs.
Absolutely! Just one call to our coordinators is all it takes. A replacement will be arranged courteously and discreetly.
